🎵 Phonics Monster English that sticks.
Your child isn't just learning sounds — they're training their ear and mouth to work together in English.
A 30-minute live session where young learners build real pronunciation habits through songs, games, and stories — not drills.
Why it matters
Most kids learn English with their eyes.
They need to learn it with their ears and mouth too.
Reading words on a page is one thing. Actually hearing them, saying them, and feeling them in your mouth is something else entirely. That gap is where most young learners get stuck.
Phonics Monster targets exactly that gap. Every session trains three things at once:
Ear training
Hearing the difference between sounds that look similar on paper
Mouth training
Building the muscle memory for English sounds that don't exist in their first language
Pattern recognition
Connecting sounds to letters so reading and speaking reinforce each other
The result? Words that come out naturally — not one slow syllable at a time.
What happens in 30 minutes
Fast. Focused. Fun enough to ask for again.
Warm-up with a song or chant (5 min)
We start with rhythm. Music is the fastest way into phonemic awareness — kids don't realise they're already doing the work.
Target sound focus (10 min)
We zero in on one sound family — the ones that trip up kids from their language background. Hear it, say it, spot it in words. We go back and forth until it clicks.
Story or game (10 min)
The sound goes into real words, then into a short story or interactive game. Context is everything — isolated drills don't stick. Stories do.
Wrap-up + one thing to practise (5 min)
We end with something they can take away and use before the next session. One small habit. That's all it takes to keep the progress moving.
Why this works
It's not magic. It's how language acquisition actually works.
Young children are in a critical window for sound acquisition. The earlier you train the ear to hear English sounds accurately, the easier everything else becomes — reading, speaking, writing.
Input before output
Kids need to hear a sound hundreds of times before they can produce it consistently. We front-load comprehensible input — listening tasks that are slightly above their current level — so their brain can start building the right patterns.
Rhythm before rules
English has a stress-timed rhythm that most other languages don't. Songs and chants teach this rhythm naturally — without a single grammar explanation. Kids pick it up the same way they picked up their first language.
Repetition without boredom
The brain needs repetition to build phonological pathways. But repetition only works when attention is high. Games, stories, and varied activities keep the attention — while delivering the repetitions the brain needs.
Mouth position matters
English sounds like /θ/ (think), /æ/ (cat), and /ɹ/ (run) require specific mouth and tongue positions. We teach these explicitly but playfully — so kids know what to do physically, not just what to imitate.
